Phase diagram

Wet gas phase diagram.jpg

Reservoir pressure and temperature are now entirely to the right of the phase envelope, indicating that for the entire pressure range of the reservoir, we have only a gas. Liquid no longer drops out as pressure decreases within the reservoir.
The typical separator conditions are within the phase envelope indicating that liquid does drop out at surface conditions.

Characteristics

Reservoir state gas
Initial GOR between 50,00 and 100,000 scf/STB
Producing GOR remains constant
Initial STO (McCain) less than 70o API
Color nearly colorless
C7+ Mole Fraction less than 3%
