To import data from other Petrel projects use Reference project tool: File → Reference project tool..
This will launch Petrel data sharing tool where it's possible to copy data between projects.
The only problem here is different versions of Petrel projects.
Sharing Data Between Different Versions Petrel Projects
If you have different versions of Petrel projects, you'll have to open the project with data and export grids, wells, etc and then import it to other project. (See Petrel Data Export Options)
